Product Enhancements

Our product and engineering team has been working hard over the last few months to bring a number of new features to the platform.

Scenario Sketch Tool: Craft bespoke scenarios from the ground up with precision. Design intricate floor plans, turn blueprints into VR scenarios, position adversaries, civilians, and forensic details to simulate authentic crime scenes or Direct Action (DA) operations. Design endless Systematic Venue Clearance and Close Quarters Battle (CQB) training scenarios, tailored to the unique demands of your team.

Check it out for yourself and watch a new scenario get created in minutes in the video below.

Interactive Role Player Module: This feature allows the instructor to wear a VR headset and take on the avatar of a suspect or hostage. This module allows for real-time weapon and object placement, communication via VOIP, and the drawing of a wide array of weapons. This is pivotal for sharpening de-escalation techniques and refining hostage rescue protocols. The Role Player module compliments the existing scenario branching options allowing for more dynamic conversations and outcomes.

Suspect VOIP: In addition to full roll play of the suspect, instructors can choose to use pre recorded actions of the suspect, with their own voice using VOIP to the trainees. All VOIP is recorded in the AAR for debriefing.

Expansive Active Shooter Environment: Over 10,000 square feet of meticulously designed urban environment dedicated to preparing agencies for active shooter situations, encompassing tactical movement, panicked crowd reactions, hostage scenarios, systematic search strategies, and comprehensive room clearance drills.

Eye Tracking Integration: During scenarios and in the after action review, instructors can observe where trainees are looking in real-time and analyze gaze through heat maps. This feature is essential for evaluating situational awareness and decision-making focus.

Advanced Analytics Dashboard: Receive detailed feedback on critical performance metrics such as shot accuracy, weapon handling, tactical readiness, and engagement speed, all integrated into our analytics platform.

12-User Tactical System: We are proud to announce the successful scaling of our Tactical Trainer for 12 users simultaneously, marking a significant upgrade in collective training capacity. The system has shown impressive stability and we are poised to expand the capacity further this year.

Customer Spotlight

Garfield County Sheriff's Office, CO

Celebrating six months since initial deployment, Garfield County has embraced Operator XR technology - having recently conducted department wide training. Running over 2 days, the 60 staff ran the system for 16 hours, with participants conducting de-escalation and movement training in a wide variety of Virtual Scenarios.

The program, led by County Officers Josh Osborne and Brian Sutton, was met with an overwhelmingly positive response. Participants were blown away by the system and the scenarios that they were exposed to. Even participants whom expressed initial concerns with VR causing nausea took the leap and found they experienced no symptoms at all. Other positive feedback included the highly realistic detail of Garfield uniforms and patrol vehicles, and just how immersive the overall experience was.

Also, a big thank you to Josh and Brian whom supported the Operator XR vendor stand at the Colorado Sheriffs Winter Conference, In Loveland 15-19 Jan 24. They provided their firsthand experiences to fellow Colorado Sheriffs, on their experiences to date and continue to provide suggestions and feedback on ways the platform can be used.
